Rays of Hope began providing continuing education to medical and mental health professionals in 2003. Topics focused on chronic pain, chronic illness, stress management, and anxiety issues. Curriculums were developed for those living with chronic pain, shame, grief/loss, stress management, and compulsive eating issues and are taught in a group format.

 

In 2006, Cindy Heck expanded beyond education to providing counseling services. Contracted by Life Counseling Center, Cindy specializes in counseling individuals with chronic medical conditions from a clinical Biblical perspective. Cindy's passion is to help all people who are suffering with chronic illness, pain, anxiety, panic, shame, and incredibly losses regardless of faith or absence of faith system.

 

Therefore, in the fall of 2008, Rays of Hope began looking for additional venues to equip and empower those suffering with pain and sickness find hope, health, and wellness.
