Services Ministry

THE CALL

A passage in the Bible, Isaiah 61:1-4, has become a life purpose for me.

"The Spirit of the Sovereign Lord is on me, because the Lord has anointed me to preach good news to the poor. He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim freedom for the captives, and release from darkness for the prisoners, to proclaim the year of the Lord's favor, and the day of vengeance of our God to comfort all who mourn and provide for those who grieve in Zion-to bestow on them a crown of beauty instead of ashes, the oil of gladness instead of mourning and a garment of praise instead of a spirit of despair. "

THE PROBLEM

Too many people are held captive by shame, addiction, low self esteem, and are literally tormented by lies spoken over them by well meaning people in their past. We are imprisoned by our own fears, losses, and limitations. We are afflicted from within and without. People have betrayed us and for some, our bodies have betrayed us. We are physically and emotionally sick. We scream to be free. We yearn for comfort and peace. Many even have lost sight of hope.

THE SOLUTION

Yet a way has been made for our freedom, peace, and joy. And we can learn to walk in it. I know this, because most of my life I was paralyzed by fear and shame. Now I am free and I desire others to enjoy that same freedom. I used to think hope, peace, and joy were for others and would never be for me. But that was a lie too. He comforts ALL who mourns.

THE SERVICE

It is my pleasure to speak and minister to the church. My heart is to meet with the inviting pastor or pastor's wife to get to know your heart and the needs of your church. You are free to contact previous pastors where I have spoken as a reference. I respect the honor of sharing your pulpit and do not take it lightly. I understand and respect you are accountable for your sheep.

Some have invited me to give my testimony to the entire church, others to ladies luncheons, breakfasts teas, etc. I also speek at women's retreats and workshops.

Pastors request I speak on topics such as grief, shame, stress, where is God in suffering, praising God in the midst of suffering, developing a heart of worship, our identity in Christ, and healing-stirring faith/addressing fallacies.

I am asked to do half day seminars that meet the congregation's needs such as pain management, stress management, shame, and grief/loss.

Although a workman is worthy of her hire, my fees to the church are only suggestions. Finances will never limit my speaking to a church. My heart is to serve the hurting. I would enjoy meeting with you to hear your heart and partner with you in meeting the needs of your congregation.
